The Design gallery on the website displays selected works of jewellery designers from renowned designed houses. These designs include Champagne Diamond Rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and several pieces of exquisite jewellery.
The formation of Champagne diamonds takes place deep within the Earth and are honed for years underneath a great amount of pressure and heat. The shades and colours seen in Champagne diamonds are attributed to the presence of distortions and trace elements in the crystal of diamond. These elements after reaction with pressure and radiation bring out the fine looking colours in the diamonds giving an impression to the onlooker that these diamonds have molten fire trapped within them. A champagne diamond is treasured by people (which includes celebrities as well) as it is a known fact that only one in ten thousand diamonds are naturally coloured. It is also used in men’s jewellery.
The world’s largest supplier as well as producer of Champagne Diamonds is the Argyle Diamond mine. This mine is located in the far-off East Kimberley region of Western Australia. This mine commenced its operation in the year 1983 and till date has produced more than 670 carats of different types of diamonds (including the rare brown coloured diamonds). There are different stories (from the local aborigines and geologists individually) that claim to explain the occurrence of diamonds in the region.
